Villa Bante is located on the eastern side of the island in the Pefki area of the Lindos community. Situated just 12 meters above sea level, the plot extends from the western edge, meeting the sea directly. The slopes embrace the natural landscape, defining the boundaries of the property. The unique terrain, along with the long and narrow shape of the land, guided the linear design, offering a breathtaking view.

Access to the property is through a rural road that runs along the narrow side of the plot. Great care was taken to harmonize the building with its surroundings, ensuring that both the structure and the landscape were given equal consideration in the architectural design.

The kitchen, dining room, and living room seamlessly flow into the sheltered backyard, creating a peaceful sanctuary protected from the wind and sun. The master bedroom features a unique half-round shaped bathroom, adorned with a stone dome that allows gentle lighting through small, colored openings. Throughout the day, the house enjoys abundant natural ventilation and daylight.

Skylights elegantly connect different areas, creating a delightful interplay of light between rooms. The exterior of the building blends harmoniously with the natural terrain, drawing inspiration from the rustic charm of the area's traditional farmhouses. The use of uncoated local stone (atsakopetra) and coated surfaces using lava and lime adds to its appeal.

The interior surfaces have been artfully coated and painted with aged limewash. Local shale stone adorns the floors, while aged white marble, reminiscent of mosaic stones, graces the bathroom walls. The outdoor yard is covered with pebbles, adding to its rustic charm. The flat roof presents a remarkable sight with trusses and wooden planks creating beautiful gaps between them. The indoor lighting, with adjustable settings, creates a warm ambiance reminiscent of candlelight.
